Overview
MediTrack is a multi-module hospital management and electronic medical records platform built by TechSmart UG. It brings registration, clinical care, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing and reporting into one shared patient record, with an architecture designed around interoperability rather than isolated departmental tools.
The challenge
In many facilities, each department keeps its own records — a register at reception, a book in the lab, a stock card in the pharmacy, receipts at billing. Patient information has to be re-collected at each step, results travel on paper, and building a reliable report means reconciling several sources by hand.
Our approach
We modelled the facility around the patient journey rather than around departments. Every module reads from and writes to the same patient record, roles decide what each staff member can see and do, and reporting is generated from the data the facility already captures during care.
The solution
A modular PHP/MySQL platform where registration, appointments, consultations, lab, radiology, pharmacy, inpatient care, billing and reporting share one data model. The system is built to keep working when connectivity drops, and to exchange data with other systems through a structured integration layer.
